Data Formats¶

Videos: compressed MPEG-4 file (mp4) at 10Mbps and 2Mbps

Musical pieces: uncompressed audio file (wav) and compressed MPEG-1 Audio Layer III file (mp3)

Naming Rules¶

The naming rules of the files slightly differ depending on the filming situation of each file as follows.

File names for filming situation sSH, sCY, and sBT consist of symbols to specify the filming situation, camera position, and variation which indicate the participating dancers and the music pieces.

eg) gBR_sBA_c01_d03_mBR3_ch04.mp4 symbol_1

In addition to the format above, file names for filming situation sGR concatenate the identifiers of three dancers as d01_d02_d03.

eg) gBR_sBA_c01_d01_d02_d03_mBR3_ch04.mp4 symbol_2

File names for filming situation sSH, sCY, and sBT consist of symbols to specify the filming situation, camera position, participating dancers, and variation of the music piece.

eg) sSH_c01_v0.mp4 symbol_3

The dancers who participate in each variation of a musical piece are the following.
